The Olmsted Partners Program unites your philanthropic dollars with customized teambuilding and the opportunity to give back. When you become an Olmsted Partner, you are being hands-on with supporting the 1 million+ people who visit the parks annually for connection to nature and community.
Each park landscape contains specific needs in the fields of horticulture, ecological restoration, or general park management. Your support can show up in a variety of ways such as financial support for equipment purchases and/or a day in the dirt with your employees to engage in garden maintenance tasks.
Olmsted Partners Membership Levels
$15,000 and up | Thriving Olmsted Partner
How you will benefit from this membership:
- Opportunity to volunteer (5) times in the Buffalo Olmsted Park System, including access to Earth Month (April) and World Clean Up Day (September)
- Up to 24 volunteers per event
- Access to event/program sponsorship with a value up to $5,000*
- Social media tag and mentions
- Marketing assets to share with your employees internally
- Light refreshments provided day of volunteer event(s)
How you will make a difference:
- Help fund equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and sustainability
- Cover the cost of hosting volunteer events for your group (e.g. gloves, staff time)
- Underwrite the cost of hosting (5) nonprofits and school groups to get involved as park volunteers
$5,000 – $14,999 | Sustaining Olmsted Partner
How you will benefit from this membership:
- Opportunity to volunteer (3) times in the Buffalo Olmsted Park System, including access to Earth Month (April) and World Clean Up Day (September)
- Up to 24 volunteers per event
- Access to event/program sponsorship with a value up to $2,500
- Social media tag and mentions
- Marketing assets to share with your employees internally
- Light refreshments provided day of volunteer event(s)
How you will make a difference:
- Help fund equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and sustainability
- Cover the cost of hosting volunteer events for your group (e.g. gloves, staff time)
- Help cover the cost of hosting (3) nonprofits and school groups
$2,500 – $4,999 | Engaging Olmsted Partner
How you will benefit from this membership:
- Opportunity to volunteer (2) times in the Buffalo Olmsted Park System, including access to Earth Month (April) and World Clean Up Day (September)
- Up to 24 volunteers per event
- Access to (1) event/program sponsorship with a value up to $1,000
- Social media tag and mentions
- Marketing assets to share with your employees internally
How you will make a difference:
- Help fund equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and sustainability
- Cover the cost of hosting volunteer events for your group (e.g. gloves, staff time)
- Help cover the cost of hosting (2) nonprofits and school groups
$1,000 | Day in the Dirt Olmsted Partner
How you will benefit from this membership:
- Opportunity to volunteer (1) time in the Buffalo Olmsted Park System (except during Earth Month in April and World Clean Up Day in September; reserved for $2,500 support and up)
- Social media tag and mentions
- Up to 16 volunteers

$500 | Day in the Dirt
How you will benefit from this membership:
- Opportunity to volunteer (1) time in the Buffalo Olmsted Park System (except during Earth Month in April and World Clean Up Day in September)
