Make a donation to the South Park Arboretum Restoration Project to ensure that this important community resource is available for generations to come. Fifty percent of every gift will be added to the Arboretum endowment fund and will support ongoing maintenance of this special space. Individual Gifts

Your individual gift to the Arboretum Restoration Project allows the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy to build and maintain this landscape in alignment with Olmsted’s original vision. Commemorative Gifts

Create a legacy that will last a lifetime. With a commemorative gift to the South Park Arboretum, you can honor a loved one, a pet or a special moment while helping to create a more beautiful South Park for everyone in our community. Choose from the following options:

Individual Trees and Shrubs:

  • Original Olmsted Tree (180 available) – $5,000 each
  • New Specimen Tree – $2,000 each
  • New Specimen Shrub – $750 each

Individual Park Amenities and Structures:

  • Picnic Tables – $5,000 each
  • Benches – $5,000 each

Naming and Sponsorship Opportunities

A sponsorship of the South Park Arboretum provides necessary support for this important project while offering your organization the opportunity to build brand awareness and recognition with a wide audience. From miles of future trails to new park amenities and trees, there is an option for every friend, family or organization.

Endowment Opportunities with Naming Rights

  • The Arboretum in its entirety – $5 million
  • Propagation Nursery – $2.5 million
  • Arboretum Curator – $2 million (fully endowed)
  • Golf House/Welcome Center – $1 million
  • The Park Road – $1 million

Plants and Special Collections

Collections with Naming Rights

  • Tree ‘Genus’ Collections – $30,000 each
  • Aquatics Collection – $30,000
  • Bog Garden – $30,000

Park Amenities and Features

Walkways, Trails and Bridges with Naming Rights:

  • Boardwalks – $20,000 each
  • Trail Gateways with Markers – $15,000 each
  • Bridges – $15,000 each

Amenities with Naming Rights:

  • Picnic Grove Shelter – $30,000
  • ADA Certified Playground – $50,000

Activities

Annual Tours (2-year; renewable):

  • Walking Tour Book – $15,000
  • Mobile Audio Tour with Signage – $15,000
  • Autumn in the Arboretum Lecture – $10,000
