Do you love trees? Do you have trees on your property? Do you know how to take care of your trees? If you have any questions about trees – planting, pruning, etc. – this is an upcoming Arbor Day event that you should consider attending! Come watch professionals doing work on trees in the park and ask questions about the arborist trade.

On Saturday, April 25 (10am-1pm), you are invited to meet a group of professional urban arborists and foresters, who will share all of the different tricks of their trade.

The Arbor Day Tree Expo event will include the following activities:

• Live tree climbing
• Equipment demonstrations by professional arborists
• Volunteer tree planting
• “Touch-a-Truck”
• Tours of current tree care in the park
• Tabling event of local arborist companies
• Students can explore potential careers in urban forestry and arboriculture
• Take home a tree seedling of your own to plant and celebrate trees
• Plant a tree and and report to the 25 Million Trees campaign
