We're waiting for Mother Nature to cooperate so we can bring family fun and old fashioned pond skating to MLK, Jr. Park. Free skates will be available and in a variety of sizes. Skating is weather dependent, for ice rink updates, please call 838.1249 ext. 17.

April 22, 2015: Informative Lecture Series. Learn more about Frederick Law Olmsted and celebrate his birthday with us (April 26, 1822).

May 29, 2015: "Spring It Forward" Luncheon. Kick off your Olmsted park season with a luncheon, proceeds raised will help keep our parks beautiful.

September 11, 2015: "13th Annual Olmsted Gala". Wind down the summer of 2015 with a fun evening under the stars.

Late October: Informative Lecture Series, date details to come.

Stephanie Crockatt Named Interim Executive Director

The board named Stephanie Crockatt, the conservancy's current senior director of institutional advancement, interim executive director. Stephanie joined the conservancy this past June, following seven years as director of extrenal affairs for the University of Georgia College of Environmental Design starting in 2007. Prior to that, she was president and executive director of the LPGA Tournament Owners Association from 1999 - 2007. For five years, she served as tournament co-director for the LPGA Oldsmobile Classic. She holds a bachelor of landscape architecture with a focus on golf course design, and a master of parks and recreation both from Michigan State University.
