The Power of Commemorative Giving
A commemorative donation offers you a thoughtful way to not only affirm your values as a Olmsted supporter, but also recognize that these values were shared by the individual, group or organization being honored. Your tax-deductible gift today is an investment in the future of this historic treasure that is Buffalo’s Olmsted Parks.
NOTE: All commemorative gifts are weather dependent and subject to changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ways to Commemorate
Gift a Tree, Bulbs or Rose Bush
Take the opportunity to mark a life or an occasion by adopting a planted tree, rose bush or bulbs. We will work with you to find the ideal location for your commemorative selection in one of the six parks, seven parkways or eight landscaped circles designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.
NOTE: We are currently reassessing our commemorative giving plan around Rose Bushes. Please email [email protected] for more information.
Gift a Bench
A artisan iron and wood bench is a wonderful way to memorialize or honor a loved one. Adopt or purchase a bench for a birthday, anniversary, new baby, graduation – it is the perfect gift for any occasion. Click here to download the Bench Plaque Form. Upon completion, please email to [email protected].
Thinking of sharing a commemorative gift for your loved one? Group Fundraising is the perfect opportunity to do so. For more information, please email [email protected].
Please note: All donations are non-refundable. Should your group not reach its goal within one year, all contributions will be designated to support the general fund for the care and maintenance of the Buffalo Olmsted Park Conservancy’s trees/benches.
