April 20 | Launch Party: Olmsted Parks Mobile App
- Join the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, Mayor Brown, M&T Bank and community partners to launch the official Olmsted App, complete with augmented reality attraction featuring the Quarry Garden!

- Happy Birthday Frederick Law Olmsted! In collaboration with the Library of American Landscape History, celebrate the father of American landscape architecture with the re-release of Frank Kowsky’s book, The Best Planned City in the World: Olmsted, Vaux and the Buffalo Park System.

- Calling all historic preservationist and tree-enthusiasts, join us for an expert panel discussion on arboreta in the historic landscape, presented by Delaware North
- The panelists are: Dr. Ned Friedman, Harvard University, Arnold Arboretum (key presenter), Lucy Lawliss, Chairwoman NAOP, Doug Blonsky, former CEO Central Park Conservancy, and Kyle Zick, landscape architect and arboretum consultant

- April 28 will mark the 18th year local tree care companies and professional arborists volunteer their time and expertise in our Buffalo Olmsted Parks in recognition of Arbor Day
- This year’s tree care work will take place in South Park
- A tree will also be planted to commemorate the 150th Celebration of Olmsted in Buffalo
