Dear Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy supporter:

I write to you today with bittersweet news to inform you that after almost nine years as the head of Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, Stephanie Crockatt informed the board this week that she is taking a new position in Sarasota, FL.

The combination of moving closer to family members and working with a new conservancy led her to this difficult personal and professional decision.

GOLF IS BACK TOMORROW FOR ONE DAY ONLY!

What: For just $10 play as much golf as you like! Tomorrow, Wednesday February 15 two of the Buffalo Olmsted Park Golf Courses will be open for one day only from 11am – 4pm.

Where: Delaware Park’s 18-hole golf course, and Cazenovia Park’s 9-hole golf course.

How: Come to the golf club house in either Delaware or Cazenovia Park between 11am and 4pm, pay just $10 and play as much as you like!

Romance Blooms in Delaware Park!

A cold and rainy Delaware Park may not be the first setting that springs to mind for the sparks of a truly beautiful Buffalo love story to ignite. Yet that was the scene as two strangers who had volunteered to plant trees for Earth Day in Delaware Park met each others’ gaze, and as it turned out the seeds of a lifetime of love were also planted that day.

Buffalo, N.Y. – Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy (BOPC) issued Request for Proposals for conceptual design work for the proposed South Park Arboretum Nursery Complex. The awarded design firm’s work will contribute toward BOPC’s vision of restoring the South Park Arboretum while creating a new community gateway to South Park on the Ridge Road corridor.
