One of Buffalo's most treasured cultural assets, this public urban forest is maintained, preserved and restored by the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, in a successful public-private partnership with the city of Buffalo. We invite you to learn more about these historic open spaces, about their creator, Frederick Law Olmsted, the father of landscape architecture, and about the stewards of this green legacy, the BOPC.
Ice rink is closed today due to melting and standing water. Free skating at MLK Jr. Park will continue, weather permitting, through March.

Heart your Park - Macy's Campaign
The Olmsted parks have been selected for “Heart Your Park, a program introduced as part of Macy’s “Secret Garden” campaign to raise awareness and dollars for local parks across the country. Now until March 31st.
