Welcome

Welcome to the official website for Buffalo's Olmsted Park System.  One of Buffalo's most treasured cultural assets, this public urban forest is maintained, preserved and restored by the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, in a successful public-private partnership with the city of Buffalo.  We invite you to learn more about these historic open spaces, about their creator, Frederick Law Olmsted, the father of landscape architecture, and about the stewards of this green legacy, the BOPC.
